Symphony Partners with City of Estacada
Dear Symphony Friends,
It’s an exciting time for supporters of the Oregon Symphony. As Carlos Kalmar starts his fourth season as music director, the artistic momentum of the orchestra continues to rise. We are well on our way to our goal of “touching the heart and soul of every Oregonian.”
This year we’re pleased to introduce an upgraded ticketing system. This is a huge benefit for you, our patrons. Now you can buy concert tickets or subscriptions directly from us—anytime. Of course, we still have regular ticket office hours, but you can now simply visit our Web site at OrSymphony.org and make your purchase within minutes. This includes viewing seating availability and a map of the concert hall. The Symphony exists on the support of our patrons, and we hope you enjoy these additional options.
And if you haven’t signed up for our free online newsletter, Symphony in E-mail, now is the time to do it. This will ensure that you’ll be the first to receive all the behind the scenes information, discounts and special offers. It only takes a few minutes to sign up on our Web site.
We recently announced that the Oregon Symphony will collaborate with the City of Estacada as the site for our next Community Music Partnership. The two-year partnership will integrate new arts programming into the city’s school system while developing a sustainability plan for the future. The previous CMP participants have proven enormously beneficial, and we’re excited to begin our fifth partnership. Also, take a moment to look at our education and community engagement calendar on the community page for activities underway in your neighborhood and at the concert hall.
Exciting times, indeed! Join us for our greatest season yet.
Warm regards,

Jerry Hulsman
Interim President
