Rewarding the Love of Music
Oregon Symphony lovers Bill and Karen Early issued a challenge, and our community responded! The Earlys promised a $250,000 gift supporting the Oregon Symphony if the Symphony could raise the same amount in new and increased donations. We are pleased to announce that as of April 7, we successfully met the Early Challenge. We are so very grateful to Bill and Karen for their tremendous generosity.
We cannot rest, however, and a new challenge has emerged. Raising another $500,000 by June 30 will balance our budget and trigger a matching gift of $500,000 from the James F. and Marion L. Miller Foundation.
