FOS New Membership Application

In lieu of an annual dues requirement (although donations are always welcome), minimum expectations of FRIENDS membership are listed below:

Volunteer Requirement (minimum of 2 hours per season) after application approval, you will be contacted by a FRIENDS member to discuss Volunteer opportunities.
Inside the Score season ticket subscriber (this is NOT a requirement, but is strongly recommended as the FRIENDS have the exclusive opportunity of promoting and selling tickets for this concert series) after application approval, you will be contacted with information about Inside the Score subscription. *Musicians exempt

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering gives you an opportunity to help change the future of the Symphony! We have the ability to make a difference and make the Symphony even better.

Find what is right for you and what fits your schedule.

We have several opportunities for involvement.
Please check the area(s) that interest you.
1. Inside the Score Concerts (greet patrons at the door, host the FOS information table)
2. Education and Community Engagement (usher at youth concerts, assist at Kinderkonzerts, participate at Library Storytimes, become a docent)
3. Fundraising (assist with fundraising events, participate in community programs, be an ambassador, share the Symphony’s vision and mission with the community)
4. Office Support (assist with mailings, maintain current files and historical documents, gather and organize reference materials for library shelves)

You have the option to be affiliated with one or more chapters.

2. Urban FOS (for young professionals)

5. Sunset Chapter
6. Willamette SW Chapter
7. Mt. Tabor Chapter
8. Vancouver Chapter
9. Downtown Chapter
